AccessHD offers two models of their series 1020 DTV Converters. This is the lower priced version. The primary difference between the two models is one doesn’t include a universal remote and other one does. There is a roughly a $10 difference between the two models.

This model is the lower priced version which does not include the universal remote. The major value in using a universal remote is its ability be used with other devices. If you are looking for the Access HD model that includes the Universal Remote you are looking for the AccessHD DTA-1020U.

This low cost DTV converter is a way to use your old analog television with the new Digital Broadcast signals. The Access HD DTA-1020D converter receives both off-air UHF and VHF digital television stations.

This device is used by connecting your current antenna to the back of the unit and it will convert all of your local OTA (Over the Air) Broadcast stations into analog TV format. Then this converter is simply hooked to your TV by standard composite video cables (RCA).

    hi, i just purchased two of your units . with my two $40 coupons from the goverment . well i hooked them up , and they do not work . i use optimum tv / cablevision which brodcasts in hdand digital . now i spoke with my cable company they said that if the unit was good i would have a picture right away , well i dont the unit said low signal . i have 7 tvs in my home ,all cables are new . old converter boxes work but not your’s . i wish to make a return , get my money back and my coupon’s back so i can make a purchase for a unit that does work with my cable company . i have my recipt . what can you do for me .

    i bought this unit and it does not work. it keeps saying low signal, so i went and bought a top of the line amplified antenna and the same result. i give up and i will try another box and hope it’s better.

    I bet you know exactly what I’m going to say-due to the fact that everyone else has the same problem. You rush to Product-and never truly worked out probables! We’re are Praying that you will be a stand up product producer, and solve your Inefficiencies-even though you have really let us down for a Pay Day!
